Our previous
HR person got all new employees to answer a health questionnaire with questions such as:
Are you willing to take a medical examination?
Do you have a current Workers Comp claim?
Are you willing to take random alcohol and other drugs test?
Are you currently being treated by a doctor for any injury or illness?
...the list goes on.
Are we allowed to ask these type of questions? Can we impose testing? My instinct tells me No. However, for the purposes of Workers comp employees are required to reveal any previous injuries, etc.. Is there a standardised form or approach for this around?
We employ construction workers so WC is important....
