Wrong payroll

Hi guys, i have problem with payroll, I have run the payroll in march for someone who have already left the company in Feb, so what should i do to recover the money back, thanks

i spoke to this ex-staff, he refused to return the money back , what should i do, can i take legal action. thanks

You can take legal action, however you may want to weight up the options on who much it would cost to follow this employee up to recovery the money or just leave it as is.
