Default Statement of 'future' employment. Help

I have an employee who is trying to relocate to a different state following a purchase of a property. During this process the bank has requested that the employer provide a form of employment certainty to the employee - most likely so that they can see servicability on the loan. In preparing a statement I have indicated that employment may continue though it is not guaranteed as I have no office or arrangement in the other state.

Notably the employee is pressing for more clarity in the statement of employment to illustrate "it is 'my intention' to retain their services long term" to satisfy the bank which I am reluctant to provide in fear of locking in future employment arrangements which I can not see continuing moving forward.

Is there anything that could be provided to assist my employee? I don't wish to provide fraudulent statements.

You are absolutely correct, you do not want to guarantee/promise something you may not be able to deliver on. In fact I'd go further.. these days there are no guarantees about anything in the workplace. Change is constant, restructures, branch closures, redundancies etc.

If you do not any a workplace in the state to which this EE is moving, then you need to be honest and state that. Even without the interstate issue, I would never write such a letter -- it would be along the lines of a Certificate of Service, ""employee has been employed for (time) as (job title) on (salary). X's employment continues.""

Most banks in fact only ask for confirmation of current employment which is at it should be. It is not your problem employee has decided to purchase property outside jurisdiction of their lender and I don't advise you get embroiled in his coercion attempts.
