Retention & Turnover
Hi I currently track our employee turnover and retention on a monthly basis. I now need to do it annually but I seem to be having trouble with it making sense. Can anyone please help with the formula you use in your company for this information.

Wouldn't it be:
(Number of staff the resigned during the year / Current number of staff) * 100 = percentage turnover.

My company has a high annual turnover rate of 22%. Saleforce staff are up 21%, Line managers 25% and local mechanics are 26%
I wanted to ask other HR personnel what would be the best way to retain and motivate staff, so they don't leave the company?
