I have over 15 years experience in HR and have recently moved to Australia. Please can somebody help to refer me to a Service Provider where i can do a Course on Australian Labour Legislation.
AHRI runs a course Cert IV in HR which used to be called "Foundations of HR". It would provide you with the basics to be able know where to go to find out more on the areas you identify a need for. Some of this may be quite remedial for you however, if you do it by correspondence you would be able to skip over quite a bit of it I'd assume.
Only word of warning on this is AHRI still has been unable to provide me with my formal qualifications for doing this course in 2008, thankfully no employer has asked me for them.
