    Default performance or dicipline?

    Hi,

Can a perforamnce improvement plan have new concerns added in as the weeks go by? By having a statement such as the concerns being poor perforamnce how is this measured? The wording is always changing from PIP to dicipline?

    Default

Performance Improvement Plans are separate to discipline. Discipline is what comes if the PIP is not adhered too or achieved. I would not mention discipline in the PIP as this would make people focus on the threat of discipline as opposed to improving the performance. What does your Performance Management policy and procedure say? What does your Disciplinary Policy say?
