457 Visa - New employee

Hi All,

A new employee is keen to start and we have lodged an nomination so she may tranfer her 457 over to us. It's been over a week so far and there have been no update on the progress tracker.

Does anyone know how long these are currently taking at the Sydney CBD office? Are there delays due to the Easter / Anzac long weekend?

I'm not sure when you submitted the application to immigration to transfer the 457 visa for your new employee, I've found it usually takes 3-4 weeks to process.

It also helps fast-track the nomination application if you follow up with DIAC in writing, and add the anticipated start date
