I am constructing arguments for better resourcing our
HR function and would appreciate other organisation's ratios of
HR staff to Full Time Equivalents.
Currently I am
1 in 300, not including 1 also in Payroll (hence reason for building the
HR function). Another sister organisation of ours in Australia is
1:48 not including Payroll.
Other (older median) figures I have are:
Capital intensive industries: 1:61
Utilities (Govt/Services): 1:46
Federal Government: 1:44
Services: 1:75
I am particularly interested in manufacturing, mining, heavy industry, but all figures welcome.
