Hi HR Buzzers,

Does anybody have an evaluation report that they would be willing to share for a Health and Wellbeing program? My organisation is about to conclude the first phase of the our program and my team will need to present the preliminary results to upper management shortly. We have some baseline data which we can base our evaluation on, just looking for various approaches on how to present the results.

Any ideas would be warmly welcomed!!

Thanks

We've run an extensive health program to which the state government has actually taken an interest. Some of the information that we find useful is from surveys to the staff that answer the following sorts of questions:
How useful was this session?
Did the session provide you with new information?
Do you intend to do anything different as a result of today's session?
Did anything threaten or make it difficult to attend the session?
Any suggestions etc
Data from these questions supports why you should continue to support such a program, but also list the other info you get like "If you will do something different, what would it be" in bullet points.

We also provided on the findings of health assessments such as Low Risk, At Risk and High Risk in the areas such as Type II Diabetes, Blood Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, Body Mass Index, Smoking, Cancer - Family History, Alcohol Audits, Depression diagnosis.

A good Health Assessmet will have a follow up section to it, so that those people who were deemed high risk in a certain category or had been given recommendations to assist in preventing illness such as diabetes etc were re-assessed to determine the changes they had made to their lifestyles or diet etc.

Is this the sort of thing that you were looking for?

Thanks Arowe,

Your response was very useful in considering questions that can be asked. As we have only had a pilot program running for some time we still need to refine the program, how we measure its success and how we capture the business improvement as a result of the program. Work is underway to address all of these areas.

Thanks for your input, your suggestions/recommendations have certainly been taken on board.

Cheers
