We are looking at making someone redundant, however as this is not normal practice within our organisation would like other advice.
We have two sites A & B, they are 2 1/2 hours away from each other. We are moving part of the business from A to B. Which means that there is no longer any positions available at site A. There may be a similar position at site B - not 100% sure if we are looking at a higher position. However there will be position available in Shepparton.
Do we have to offer this to the employee and would be need to pay additional monies to the employee so he is not out of pocket i.e travelling, etc
