A free flexible working advice website called Work Re-Tune (http://lmxdev1.ionetwork.ac.uk/retune/initialise.do) has been launched by UK charity Working Families. The site offers advice to senior employees wanting to work more flexibly and also offers advice to the managers of those staff.

As the site states, "There is a strong business case for facilitating senior managers to work like this: retention, energy, effectiveness, motivation and long-term loyalty can all be enhanced."

While the site is probably aimed at the UK market, the advice it offers is also very relevant to the Australian market, particularly given the Rudd Government's announcements that employees will be able to request more flexible working arrangements, (which by sheer coincidence the UK Government has already legislated).

You can read a Personnel Today article about this here (http://www.personneltoday.com/articles/article.aspx?liarticleid=46372&printerfriendly=true), or go straight to the Work Re-Tune site (http://lmxdev1.ionetwork.ac.uk/retune/initialise.do)
